At Last an Update for Colinton Website Design
At last!
After months of working with our clients and advising them about improvements to their sites, and ultimately their businesses, we have spent some time on our own site!
We use professional WordPress themes, developed by Themify, a Canadian theme developer. The last version of our site was built using one of their themes called themifyflow. This was actually a novel theme designed to allow users to modify every aspect of the site from the header to the footer. Effectively you could produce your own individual theme from the basic version.
Anyway, partly because it started out as a free theme, it didn’t get the support that their paid for themes got. For this reason Themify stopped updating the theme and whenever that happens, you need to move on, from a security point of view at least.
Personally we thought the idea behind themifyflow was great. It allowed individual designers to put their own spin on just about every aspect of a website. However, we had to move on and we chose Themify’s ULTRA theme. This is probably their most adaptive theme. We use it for most of our sites but still manage to give each one its own individuality.
We actually liked our previous design so have kept it much the same with a few changes here and there like our “testimonials” page and our “FAQs” page. Please let us know what you think.
