This is Ed and Ruth’s second website with us. This is yet another 1-page website the like of which are becoming more and more popular. If you are looking for a single page to advertise a property or single service then this can be the way to go. Being responsive as standard the site looks great on all devices.
Abid already had his site live with another host but was having difficulty updating it and communicating with them. There are more and more 1-page websites out there now where small businesses want a means of quickly showing what they do and giving potential customers an easy way to contact them. We updated the images on his site and now host the site too so they will have easy access to it from now on.
Annie came to us regarding problems with her existing site. It had been hacked and had links to gambling sited injected throughout the coding. We were able to recover the content of her site and upload it to our servers with minimal downtime. Now the site functions perfectly on all devices.
Ed and Ruth of local business CastleLets were looking for a local web design company to build their new webslte. As for design, they were looking for something modern and mobile responsive as they were aware that many people are viewing sites on the move now. What resulted was a site that is easy to view and use on all devices. They were very happy.
Donna contacted us after being recommended by one of our other clients. She was looking for quite a clean & simple website and was also interested in our maintenance package where we take care of WordPress updates such as plugins, themes and the WordPress core.
Karin and Chris from Energy Lawyers, Weisenborn-Linskaill & Associates were looking for a new site layout and a site that was easy to update. We provided a site that does just that. Not only is it very straightforward to update or add new content, but it is easy to ensure the software used to keep the site safe and secure is also up to date. As well as designing and building the site, we provide the hosting for it too.
When Lorraine took over this business she was looking to re-brand with a new name, logo and colours An established double glazing company for over 20 years, the original owners came to us to build a new website. They were looking for a modern looking website that was mobile friendly and easy to edit. It was important to them that they could be found on any device. The site has built in modules which allow potential customers to design their own composite doors or double-glazed windows and these modules must work on all devices. With all our WordPress websites being mobile friendly as standard we had no problem meeting their specifications. Lorraine was very happy with the site and was looking to make just enough of a change to make it her own which we duly did for her.
Fiona’s House cleaning is another success story. Her site is visited on average over 12 times per day through google searches alone and you can see from her testimonial how happy she is with her site.
David was looking for a clean modern website for his Edinburgh Tree Surgery Business. He already had business colours and a logo so we used the exact same colours for his website. Nowadays it is more and more important to ensure a website is mobile optimised. Not only to give as many visitors as possible a good experience while visiting your site but search engines such as Google give credit to sites that are mobile friendly which help in their search rankings.
This is a fresh, minimalist design that gets straight to the point. Each of Christina’s four classes appear on page 1 of google if the area is included in the search. This is something that has to be considered when deciding on the phrases you want your site to rank for.
Mark was another client that had a clear design in mind from the start. He is also staring to use a blog to highlight recent work and spread his net over the world wide web.
The team at Innovation and Growth Advisors were looking for a site which was clean and to the point. They also required a page which stored their resources allowing potential clients to view and or download them. Another feature was to have a password protected page where presentations could be stored and accessed by the team. All features were easily added with clear instructions provided so that they could upload additional resources moving forward.
Colinton Arts was established in 1981 in the village of Colinton. In 2013 Lynsey and Cath realised that a website would give them another avenue for providing professional advice and a personal service for all aspects of picture framing, cleaning and restoration. In 2019 they wanted to take their website to the next stage. They wanted to be able to update it easily by adding informative blog posts and they also wanted some SEO carried out in order to rank higher on Google searches. A year later they rank number 1 on Google for those searching for picture framers in Edinburgh. Thankfully they wanted to use a local web designer.
Nicholas is an Edinburgh based planning consultant. He required a site to highlight and explain the services he offers. His site makes use of the in vogue style of not having too much on the home page but linking what is there to content further within his site.
The guys at PSZ STONE came to us with a clear idea of the type of site they wanted. Like many of our clients they had seen a site they liked and asked us to build something similar. The original site they pointed us to was not a responsive site so we ensured that their site would was, allowing visitors on all platforms to get a good experience when visiting their site.
Since GXP is a offers a very specific service in a very technical industry we went for a technical looking design to match. If you require a specific design just let us know.
For Hugh, one of the biggest purposes for his website was to keep his clients up to date with what he was invloved in and being able to provide offers for them. We added a facebook feed to side of each page so when he posts on facebook the post automatically appears on his site.
The original site of EH1 Therapies was needing an update. The layout needed changed which helped it look far more appealing and easier to navigate, especially on a mobile. Since most of the content was already there we just needed to update images and make a few edits here and there. This kept costs down but still gave the “new site” feel.
When Natasha first contacted us she already had a website for her business. However, she was aware that it required updating. With more and more people searching for sites using mobile devices it is becoming vital that viewers have a good experience no matter which device they use. Nowadays modern designs can be used to automatically reconfigure the content to fit the size of screen the viewer is using. However, Natasha wanted to go a step further having some features only appearing on certain sizes of screen. View this site on several different devices and you will see what we mean. Natasha also took advantage of our free SSL certificate. Although she doesn’t take any payments through her site, search engines, such as Google, are looking for site owners to take security seriously and can give a better search ranking to those who do. We plan to continue to offer free SSL certificates to all our clients who use our WordPress Platform.
With a very individual design, Robert’s website is worth a look. A feature of this site is the revolving images in his portfolio of driving test successes.
Although Castle Removals have been in business for more than 30 years they decided now was the time to add a new string to their bow and have a website built. Focusing on house removals, house clearances and packing services in Edinburgh and throughout the UK they already had a well-known brand image. Many will have seen their vans moving throughout Edinburgh. Using the image of their vans under Edinburgh Castle helps visitors to their site recognise the company, gaining trust with seconds of reaching the site.
A local garage that is doing amazingly well in the search rankings. As specialists and service centres for both BMW and Mercedes they appear on page 1 of google for associated searches for the Edinburgh area.
Through word of mouth, Emma from Cumbria asked us to build a site for her Personal and Professional Development Coaching business. It was important that Emma could link to her social media outlets as she used these actively too. Having a blog page helped her keep her clients and other readers informed too.
